We offer several AHA certifications. Choose from the list below. You’ll be taken to the product page where you can select your class from a list of available dates. Reservations and payment must be completed in advance in order to reserve your seat in class.

If you are unsure which certification you need, just give us a call at 505-235-8994. We’ll be happy to help.

Basic Life Support (BLS Provider) - BLS training is intended primarily for medical, dental and other personnel in a career with a high likelihood of exposure to cardiac arrest. This course used to be called Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.

BLS Renewal - BLS Renewal training is only available for students currently holding a valid, unexpired AHA BLS certification. If your certification has expired, you will need to take the BLS Provider class instead.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED - Heartsaver training is designed for lay responders, non-medical folks who still may encounter serious medical emergencies. This is the required course for licensed massage therapists in New Mexico. Folks in construction, counselors, school health assistants and federal contractors can all benefit from this training.

Heartsaver CPR AED - Heartsaver CPR AED training is designed for lay responders who do not require first aid training. Personal trainers require this certification as a minimum.

Blended Training - Blended training combines online training with hands-on skills work. Classroom presentations are provided online, but students must still complete a one-hour skills practice and assessment class. Students taking blended training receive the same certification as those attending the classroom version of the course. All four courses shown above are available in blended format.

CPR Skills class - If you have already completed the online portion of your blended training and have a certificate of completion for that portion, you need only attend a one-hour skills class to complete your certification requirements. You will need to bring a copy of your online training completion certificate (printed or electronic) to class.
