This Basic Life Support plus Adult First Aid course is designed for healthcare providers, first responders and professional rescuers in and outside of the hospital, and for those required to have professional-level basic life support training as a job requirement.
Students learn how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support and what to do in case of numerous first aid emergencies, including heart attach, stroke, severe bleeding, seizues, etc. This program has been approved for training for Emergency Medical Services personnel and is accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
This class employs online training in place of the classroom portion. Upon successful completion, an in-person skills assessment must be performed. Once the skills covered in the course are correctly demonstrated, a two-year HSI certification is provided.

Southwest CPR reserves the right to cancel any scheduled training class with 48 hours notification. Students enrolled in a class canceled by Southwest CPR may, at their option, either enroll into another class or receive a full refund.
No refunds for any other reason. Students may reschedule with 24 hours notice. Within 24 hours, a $20 rescheduling fee applies.
