AHA offers a blended alternative to traditional classroom-style BLS training. This blended training uses a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities to teach students BLS knowledge and skills. This online training replaces the traditional classroom learning portion of the course.
After completing the online portion, students attend a structured BLS Hands-On Session at Southwest CPR. This session focuses on meaningful skills practice, debriefing, team scenarios, and skills testing.
Blended training is often a convenient alternative for those renewing their certification.
Allow ample time to complete the course prior to your scheduled skills class. It can take up to one business day to have AHA deliver your online training key from online orders. Check the class calendar for BLS Skills Assessment dates and enter the date and time you choose in the spaces below. Within 24 hours of making your purchase, we will send you a link and key to access your course. Just click on the link and start your class. Once the online portion of the training has been completed, print out your certification of course completion.
The online portion takes most students 2-3 hours. The skills assessment lasts about 60 minutes, depending on your skill level.
You must bring your certificate of completion to the skills session and then pass the in-person skills testing in order to receive your BLS Provider certification card.

Training certified by:
Southwest CPR reserves the right to cancel any scheduled training class with 48 hours notification. Students enrolled in a class canceled by Southwest CPR may, at their option, either enroll into another class or receive a full refund.
No refunds for any other reason. Students may reschedule with 24 hours notice. Within 24 hours, a $20 rescheduling fee applies.
